Let me share the story about this unique scholarship. We have been planning to develop this scholarship for certain time. The money actually comes from the donations of our faculties, alumni, our friends and people with love. Each donation is small amount. Then we keep saving and saving. The scholarship is used to honor students with unique performance and encourage student strive for the excellence in many aspects. Each student is unique and reward by different reasons.
Let the editor share the story of the third year student Wu. When Wu was still a freshman, the class tutor asked in the class if there were any students who served as accompanying readers.
Children who need to accompany them are: children from disadvantaged families, or children from single parents.
After elementary school, children cannot go to parenting classes, and their families cannot take care of them.
Although student Wu was full of lessons every day, he still volunteered as a companion.
The other party’s association shared Wu’s excellent performance afterwards.
This is what happened two years ago but we kept that in our mind. Wu also need to do part time job to earn the money to support his life. But he still has time and love for some others. We honor him because he knows the importance of sharing and helping.
